Apple fans finally have a chance to check out the company’s new visitor center and, while shopping for swag there, they can sip a fresh cup of coffee ordered on an iPad.
The Apple Park Visitor Center opened on Friday on the company’s campus in Cupertino, California. We took a spin through to check it out.
The center is broken up into four sections. The first is a coffee bar where customers can order drinks and snacks through an iPad.
The second section is a store with all the latest gadgets, including the Apple Watch and iPhone. Visitors can also buy exclusive Apple gear, like a T-shirt, baseball cap or even a baby onesie.
The next section of the building holds an 11,000-pound model of Apple Park. Using iPads, visitors can take an augmented reality tour throughout the campus, peering into areas that are usually off-limits to the public.
Finally, visitors can take the stairs to the outside roof terrace and get a real glimpse of the “spaceship” building across the street.
