Alibaba has developed a concept smart locker called the Cainiao Box. The idea is that you’d install it outside your home as a secure place for people to leave deliveries when you’re not home. It unlocks using facial recognition and can be temperature-controlled to keep food deliveries warm or cold. The device is just a concept at this time, with no details around when it might find its way into a real shipping product
