We should also finally learn more about Apple’s augmented reality efforts, which will let apps superimpose computer-generated images on top of real-world photos and video from the camera. AR will be supported by the iPad and iPhone, and developers are using an Apple technology called ARKit to create new apps that will debut in September. Expect AR to enable all sorts of new use- ases for iPhones from games to medicine to education.
