President Donald Trump said on Thursday that chipmaker Broadcom is moving its headquarters from Singapore to the United States.
Trump made the announcement at a White House press conference attended by Broadcom Chief Executive Hock Tan, who told reporters: “America is again the best place to lead a business with a global footprint.”
Shares of Broadcom declined nearly 3 percent on Thursday afternoon.
